Fixsation Couples Vibe

Now i was contacted a few weeks ago asking if i would like to trial a brand new product prior to it coming to market for Planet Earth.....ooooh yes i would!!!!....the product in question was a brand new couples vibe called Fixsation.

Fixsation is the brainchild of Tiffany York. Its designed as the ultimate couple vibe due to its ergonomic design - it fits the gap between the mans pelvis and the woman's clitoris offering direct pressure where you need it most!!

Initial impressions - Very good....the box is nicely designed, it looks like its going to be a quality product with very sturdy and discreet packaging, doesn't really give you any idea as to what lies inside....that is until you flip the box over.

On the back It shows a 6 step diagram of what the product looks like and how to use it.

Once Inside the box you are greeted with 3 compartments which hold the following:

1 black pantie band
1 x couples vibe unit
1 x charger
1 x silk carry bag

Now the plus point of this product is it has a chargeable unit. Before you first use it, it does say you need to charge for at least 8 hours prior. To charge simply plug the adaptor into the charger point on the vibe unit. A LED light will come on to indicate its charging. Once fully charged this light will switch off...simple!!

So to setting it up. The vibe unit comes with a cute black lace pantie band of which you thread through the side chambers of the unit...this is the fiddly part...you also need to make sure you thread the unit up the right way as it has 2 sides, a male and female side...thankfully the instructions in the box shows you which is which so you can't go wrong!!.

Once threaded i have to admit the whole thing did look a tad flimsy....and i immediately thought..'how the hell will that stay in place'....however that's the surprising bit.....when i put it on it felt pretty secure and stayed where it needed to stay.The unit nestled comfortable against me and didn't move, which is what you want!! The unit basically sits directly above the vaginal opening. The unit is also ergonomically designed to sit flush against both bodies. I must add that the pantie companion does come in various sizes (think i had medium) How many sizes on offer...well theres 5 from small up to XXL.

So to turning the unit on. The unit has a discreet on off button which you simply hold down for 2 secs to turn on, the button also lights up when on which would make it easy to locate in the dark. The unit has 4 modes:

Mode 1: on/mild
Mode 2: Intermediate
Mode 3: Intense
Mode 4 : off

The vibrations are surprisingly good and very quiet which is always a plus point, but how did it work in practise. Feedback from my partner was it took him a while to find a good position to that he could feel the vibe, and eventually seemed to find missionary was the best bet. He said he could feel the vibrations and they did feel nice but he said the downside for him was he sometimes felt the unit bang against him which was distracting...he felt the unit needs to be a little flatter. From my point of view I also found this a slight issue too as it sometimes hit against my pubic bone....which doesn't feel great, but once you get into a rhythm it did feel good.  The great thing is it did stay in place and didn't move around, which i thought it may...so big gold star there!!!

With regards to how it felt for me, i would say ok, but not mind blowing....it enhanced the experience but didn't knock my socks off and i sometimes felt it was uncomfortable when pressed very close against me.

It takes a while to find a position that benefits both of us....so you do need to play around with this, which i guess is part of the fun. So approach this toy as a light hearted one. We did have fun using it, it wasn't mind blowing, but did enhance and felt nice. Would make a great little naughty weekend gift!!



All in all a nice little toy, great fun to use as a couple, little bit fiddly to set up but was impressed at how it stayed in place. Bonus points for being rechargeable and also for being able to use whilst having intercourse. The RRP is £70 and it comes with a 1 year warranty as standard. Theres also the additional option to buy a lingerie companion set which includes a very cute babydoll and panties.

Power Blossom 7 function wand

A wand is one of those toys that every girl at some time should try as most of them are 'rock your socks off' .....on another level compared to other toys. This wand is one of the smaller variety of wands and also battery powered.......so you immediately think 'won't be as good'.......but let me tell you....it may be small but this small contender blows the socks off some of its bigger cousins.



First of all packaging.....simple, understated, basic.....clear plastic front displaying the wand in all its glory and plenty of info on the back. Big emphasis on the 7 speed element, also a bonus of a large head adaptor giving you the ability to purchase additional attachments to use with the wand.

The wand itself is very light and compact...only 8" in length and a much more easy to manage size than some of its larger cousins. The head is sturdy with a nice rounded surface area to the tip...and plenty of flexibility is provided via the neck part. The battery compartment is situated at the bottom of the handle. It takes 4 AA batteries (not included) these are inserted into a tray which slides out of the bottom which i have to say is a bit fiddly.

It has a nice simple, easy to use interface with large buttons - one 'off' button and one 'mode' button. To switch on you simply press the mode button, you then keep pressing to select which of the 7 cycles you wish to use....a small light will appear on the chosen cycle making it easy for you to remember your favourite.

So....performance, now usually with most toys that have various cycles they start out fairly gentle then increase in intensity etc.....not with this baby - Cycle 1 when you first switch it on...i have to admit was a bit of a shock...no messing..straight to intense....so much so i think this could be too much for some. But it doesn't stop there....oh no, cycle 2 was even more so and cycle 3...well...it would leave you hanging on the ceiling for dear life.....ridiculous!!!! you could go nought to orgasm in about 5 seconds.... either that or it would be just too intense to put anywhere near you!!

The other cycles above 3 do give a bit of light relief as they vibrate in stages...however those stages are still really intense but at least its not a constant oscillation.

This is an incredibly powerful little wand and completely blew me away at the sheer level of intensity provided. This is a no way a toy for first time users or those super sensitive types as it would just be too much. I think the only way to reduce the sheer intensity would be to add the large head attachment which would help disperse the vibrations over a wider surface area.

As far as powerful toys go...this is up there with the best. Great size, easy interface with large buttons and packs an almighty punch. If you like your toys intense then this will not disappoint.

Picobong Review

So if you've not come across Picobong before they are the latest brand to come out from the designer brand Lelo. The overall ethic of Picobong is to produce a high quality designer brand but with appeal to a younger market at a more affordable price than its big sister Lelo.

Picobong still has the style and the sophistication of Lelo but comes with a sense of humour and an element of fun.

There are currently 6 products in the Picobong range and i shall be reviewing 3 of them.

So onto the first one which is the pretty in pink Mahana Duo Vibe

First of all let me start with the packaging. The vibes come in fairly standard packaging, plastic front box which perfectly shows the vibes in all their glory. The box contains the vibe and also a dice..not quite sure what the die was for, (no explanation on the website either)..it has picture of other toys from the range so i assume a bit of fun to help you choose which toy to play with...but a bit redundant really if you only have one!!

The vibe is quite small and compact which i really liked. It has a sleek curvy design, is incredibly light and the flexy join in the middle bends easily. The body itself is made from Body Safe FDA approved silicone and ABS plastic and is Phthalate free. Its waterproof up to 1 metre making Picobong toys the ideal bathtime playmate.

Another nice touch which you don't normally see is that all Picobong toys come with a comprehensive 1 year warranty!!

The vibe takes 2 AAA batteries (not included), to insert you simply screw the 2 points off. It was at that point i was a bit baffled....how does it switch on, theres nothing obvious whatsoever on the vibe to indicate an on/off switch so a read of the instructions was called for. The controls are cunningly disguised within the Picobong logo on the side of the vibe. The hole in the P contains the minus and the hole in the B contains the plus. Simply press the B to switch on. You then hold down the B to increase the intensity. When it gets to its highest setting if you press the B again it then enters into the cycle settings......all12 of them!!! To turn off..use the minus button and keep pressing till it returns back to the off state.

One thing i have to point out when you switch this on......its incredibly quiet.....even on the highest setting its fabulously discreet, a huge tick in anyones box!!

So to usage....The Mahana is designed with 2 pleasure points - one to be inserted and used internally and the other one then lies externally caressing the clitoriss. The sleek and compact design aids insertion but you will still require lube to help with this (ensure its water based as silicone on silicone is never a good option).

The one thing to remember is to insert the side that hasn't got the logo on....otherwise you'll have no way of adjusting the setting other than taking it out and reinserting....a problem which i came across with one of the other toys (see reviews below)....certainly a bit of a passion killer!!

The vibrations on their own in top speed, for me personally didn't quite hit the mark...internally however they were spot on...when combined together internally and externally felt great...though it did take a while to find a good cycle combination.

Although this looks like a couple toy (similar shape to the we-Vibe) this is not intended for couples play. Overall i do like this toy...the shape, look, feel, function but for me the vibrations didn't quite hit the mark. The size i feel is just right and the ultra quiet motor gives this toy huge plus points for solo play. The discreet controls are a cool addition however can be a bit of a negative depending on which toy you have (see reviews below)

Price point is £44.95, which for a solo toy is still a bit pricey...but you are paying for a quality designed toy from a quality well known brand Lelo.

So onto the second toy which is the Tano Plug Vibe

Again this vibe is atheistically pleasing, sleek contours and smooth surface. As with the Duo vibe this is both waterproof, body safe and phthalate free. The controls again are stored discreetly within the letters of the embossed logo. Battery insertion once again by simply screwing off the end.

Controls are identical to the duo vibe and come with the same 12 cycle program. The Tano is the ideal shape for an anal vibe...but again lube will be required to aid insertion. The shape of the plug means it stays in place well and the contoured end then allows you or your partner to grip the end to control movement. Now here comes the negative i mentioned earlier......that cool control feature on the body of the plug suddenly becomes a problem.......want to change the intensity or change the cycle...you have to pull it out, change the setting then reinsert it...which if done a few times can certainly kill the moment and can be a bit messy if all lubed up!!

The positives are that the pleasure points are focused near the tip which give the user deep stimulation. The general cycle of vibrations are just right for anal pleasure and combined with clitoral play would guarantee a toe curling finale.

As far as an anal vibe goes...this isn't too bad...great design, easy to insert but the control panel just lets it down....however general functionality is good so i could easily live with the control issue. This toy can be used for both solo play and couples and retails for £34.95.

Onto the last one which is the Koa Ring Vibe

As with the other 2, design is sleek and gorgeously contoured...its waterproof, body safe, same battery compartment, same control and same 12 cycle function.

The ring vibe is an all round couples toy and has a flexible ring base which has a few usage options. Firstly for solo play the obvious use is to grip the ring and then you have full control over the vibe. However the other main use for the ring is to place it over a penis or dildo giving a sensory dimension to couples play. The ring is flexible enough to slip round most sizes however it can move around a bit depending on size. The basics of usage are the man slips the vibe on, and as he penetrates you, the vibe lays against your clitoriss.

Again for me the vibrations aren't as strong as i would like...so i think this vibe would be perfect for first time users looking for something discreet, small and quiet...and this certainly ticks all those boxes. I wouldn't really use this toy for insertion as its fairly small...however if you did want to use it that way in combination with something else then the ring will certainly come in very handy.

All three of the vibes are available in 3 colours, all super quiet, all Eco friendly manufactured and all come with a 1 year warranty as standard.

So how does Picobong rate.....well atheistically it hits the spot for me..love the sleeks designs, colour options, discreet controls..however the controls were a negative for insertion and i would of loved the vibrations to pack a bit more of a punch than they did. The size is perfect and would be ideal toys for travel. For me id say this is a great toy range for first time users looking for something with a quality design and a good name behind them.

Picobong are definitely on the right track with this range but would gladly welcome a more intense model in the future.

Valentines fun with Extase Sensual

Seeing as iv already done a few valentines gift ideas, thought id add a couple more spicier ones to the mix.

The bag contains Chocolate Orange hot massage oil (yes i know, I'm drooling already), chocolate Orange lubricant and blackberry massage oil.

So first to the hot oil, now this isn't one of those oils you have to heat up yourself...this heats up on contact with your skin!! The smell is a deep chocolaty fragrance with a delicious hint of oranges...not overpowering and not too sickly! The oil itself is quite thick but once on contact with the skin it does disperse well. The gentle heat feeling you get from the oil is really nice and i loved the way it made my skin feels afterwards along with the subtle chocolaty fragrance it left behind....yum!!

Onto the Chocolate orange lubricant and i have to say my favourite of the 3, not a strong fragrance...but the taste was spot on....delicately orangy, not to sweet, not too sickly....great for intimate play and would have me happily licking for hours!!

The last one was the blackberry massage oil. Wasn't overly won over by the fragrance of this, found it much too sweet for my liking but that's just my opinion. With regards to massage, again the oil worked well and provided good coverage. The fragrance does settle down once applied to the body and i actually really liked it then....so it redeemed itself in the end!!

The little touch of the silky blindfold really added to the set.....and who couldn't resist the offer of a sensual massage whilst blindfolded......simply heaven!!

All in all a fabulous little set and ideal for a naughty weekend away or a romantic valentines evening!!

Again this set comes in a lovely tin but this time, packaged inside is a clitoral stimulation gel. The gel comes in an easy to dispense pump action bottle.
